Set of four flags, each made in the style of a U.S. flag with labels for the individual states Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Note that Pennsylvania is mis-spelled Pensylvania. Item donor Susan H. Douglas associates these flags with Hayes-Wheeler pennants 2214.PD0086a and dates the entire group to the 1876 Presidential campaign. Item 2214.PD0086c is a stand that was used to display these flags.
