- Seven-sided paper balloon item was manufactured by Sprague & French of Norwalk, Ohio. Each panel is slightly different
images include Harrison and Morton portraits and images of an American eagle, a log cabin, and an American flag. Note the use of images from the 1840 campaign of William Henry Harrison, Benjamin Harrison's grandfather. Interior of lantern contains a wood and metal support for a candle. Item donor Susan H. Douglas's notes indicate that the original height of the item was 23.25 inches (59 centimeters), which has been reduced slightly due to crushing. Item 2214.PD0030 is a matching Cleveland-Thurman item. - Cite As:
