- Description:
- Hinged metal snuffbox with rotating wheel set just below lid. Wheel rotates to exhibit portraits of Garfield, Arthur, Hancock, and English through opening in the lid. Image on top of lid shows two top-hatted gentlemen arguing about who will be the next President. Box contained Century brand tobacco manufactured by P. Lorillard & Co. Patent information (for design of box) at bottom center of lid largely has worn away. Reverse shows image of tobacco Manufactory No. 10/ Jersey City/ 5th District NJ and contains statement that the tobacco has been manufactured in accordance with Federal laws.
