Molded glass container in the shape of a top hat with phrases THE SAME OLD HAT and HE'S ALL RIGHT on opposite sides. Fischer (1988: 133 Figure 113) identifies the item as a toothpick holder and relates the Same Old Hat theme to Benjamin Harrison's 1888 Presidential campaign.
