Ashtray bears a faint molded impression that makes it appear to be a woven basket. Item Donor Susan H. Douglas's notes indicate that this ashtray and the associated We Like Ike metal tray (item 2214.BB0033) to which it would have been affixed were made by LAZY JACKS MAGNA-COASTER KELCEY, BROOKLYN 30, N.Y., U.S.A.. Douglas dates these items to the 1952 Presidential campaign.
